Floodlight returns for Season Two

Floodlight, the podcast dedicated to raising awareness of the fight against modern slavery, is back for a second season. Brought to you by Stak and The Anti-Slavery Collective, the show speaks to amazing people who are using their platform and experiences to fight for change. It also provides a wealth of useful information about how you can help to spot signs of modern slavery in your own life, and we can do about it.

The show's first season was met with critical acclaim, as the likes of Dame Emma Thompson, Caroline Haughey KC, Kevin Bales and many more joined HRH Princess Eugenie and Julia de Boinville for heartfelt discussions about their work in fighting modern slavery.

And now, the podcast returns with more illustrious guests."Across ten episodes, Julia and I have been lucky enough to speak to some incredible people who are campaigning to end modern slavery in all its forms," says HRH Princess Eugenie. "Listeners will learn how this is very much a hidden crime; and touches all sectors of society. Together, we can do something about this. Join us as we bring together change-makers and raise awareness in the fight against modern slavery."

Joining them for the first episode of the new season is the Rt Hon Theresa May, the former British Prime Minister who has dedicated much of her political career to fighting modern slavery in the UK and overseas.

She welcomed the team to her parliamentary offices to talk about how she first became aware of modern slavery, her vital role in the passing of the Modern Slavery Act in 2015 and just how vital cooperation is in fighting this global epidemic - across communities, businesses and borders.

Future guests will include a range of lawmakers, activists and celebrity campaigners who are all as passionate about fighting to end modern slavery as we are.Click here to listen and subscribe now!
